Peaceful Mind Psychiatry is currently accepting new patients. To proceed with scheduling an appointment, we require some preliminary information in the form of our New Patient Paperwork. This paperwork, found in the link below, can be emailed to info@peacefulmindpsychiatry.com. We request that a copy of your insurance card is included within this email. Once these forms are completed and returned, please give us a call to make an appointment and pay for a $50 deposit. This one time, $50 charge allows our office to hold your one-hour new patient appointment with Dr. Liu. This deposit will either be applied towards your copay or refunded in full (assuming a zero-dollar copay from your insurance). We look forward to providing you with the quality care you deserve!

Jing Liu, M.D. Ph.D.
Dr. Liu is a board certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and diplomate of the American Psychiatric Association specializing in Adult Psychiatry. She had her residency training in Psychiatry Department at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She has 3 years of research in neuroscience as a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University. Her papers were published in Science and Journal of Neuroscience as well as other peer reviewed journals. She believes that people with mental illnesses deserve compassionate care with carefully tailored medication targeting each unique individual. They have a right to participate in their own care. She also believes in the power of healthy living and mindfulness practice.

We are located behind the Hunter’s Crossing Publix, in the Bristol Park office complex. Our address is 4635 NW 53rd Ave, #205 in Gainesville, FL 32653. If you use navigation on your phone, typing in “Peaceful Mind Psychiatry” will take you to our suite. If you are on 43rd street heading towards 39th (away from Newberry Road), you will cross over the intersection of 43rd street and 39th Avenue. You should continue past this intersection for about 1 mile. Turn left at the first traffic light (51st street). You will see Hunterscrossing Appartment, Ameris Bank and McDonalds.
